How to create an Email Marketing Segment

What is an Email Segment?
Segmentation, as a marketing strategy, involves dividing your audience into smaller groups based on shared characteristics. By identifying commonalities among your audience members, you can tailor your marketing efforts to speak to their specific interests and preferences.
This personalized approach allows you to communicate with your audience in a way that resonates with them and increases the likelihood of engagement and conversion.
Audience segmentation can be based on a variety of criteria set in your Customer Properties such as demographics, geographic location, online behavior, and more. By targeting specific audience segments with customized messaging, you can build rapport, drive conversions, and ultimately cultivate a stronger relationship with your audience
Head over to your “Emails & Automations”, click on "Lists & Subscribers”. Click on "Segments” and then the "+ Add Segment” button.
Once you’ve created your segment you can Add a Filter on top of your screen to start adding filters to define your Segments. You can create as many segments as you like based on different criteria that are shown. You can also update an existing segment.
Click "+ Add Filter”
Select your criteria from the Customer Properties in the dropdown menu (we’ve used “TAG” for this example).
Make your selection, then click on the "Update Segment” button.
Then go ahead and use this segment as the trigger of your campaign.
