How you and your clients can manage Subscription Payments (recurring payments or installment payments)

"Subscriptions" in ShinePages refers to a type of payment that is made on a monthly (ongoing recurring) basis and/or a payment that is set up to be paid in "installments" over a set number of payments.  


ANY type of Product can be set up as a "Subscription Product":

-Service products

-Membership products

-Physical products

-Digital products

-Community Circle payments

OPTION 1) SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT FOR SITE OWNERS/ADMINS:

As the owner/admin of your ShinePages account/project - you can manage, change and edit your existing/active Subscriptions individually from within your builder. 


You can edit the following per subscription for each individual: 

-Billing Cycle

-Subscription Price

-Next Payment Date

-Recurring Payment parameters


NOTE: When you make a change to an individual active Subscription - this ONLY changes the subscription for this one individual's Subscription.  

It does NOT change the Subscription pricing or parameters for the Product in your Store.  Any NEW purchases of this Subscription will be set with the pricing and parameters of the store Product.

How to Edit/Change an active/existing Subscription individually:

You can make updates to and individual's subscription from 2 Places:


1.1) The customer's Contact Record - under the "Subscriptions" tab


Click the "wrench" icon to the right of the listed subscription to open the Subscription Management screen (see below) 


1.2) The Store > Subscriptions screen 


Click the "wrench" icon to the right of the listed subscription to open the Subscription Management screen (see below) 


This will then open their Subscription Management panel - where you can make the changes to cycle, price, next payment or recurring payments.  Again, this will ONLY make this change for this one individual's Subscription moving forward.  (see below)

       



OPTION 2) SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS/CLIENTS: 

Your customers can login to their Member profile page to view and "manage" their own Subscriptions - with the option to "Cancel" or "Change payment method" for each current/active Subscription they have.

To allow your clients to login and view their Member Profile, please either use the built-in "Login/Register" Header Widget in your Header OR link a button or menu item to yourdomainhere.com/member

Once they are logged in - (see below) 

Customers have the ability to Manage their Subscription in these two ways:


2.1) Cancel their Subscription

2.2) Update the Credit Card used for their Subscription payment
