LINK TO:

  • Any page on your site
  • Any popups on your site
  • Any external URL on the internet (Open In - New Tab)
  • Any page/funnel step on any Funnel nested beneath your website
  • Any item you sell in your Store
  • Any File/PDF you want people to be able to download
  • A specific section of a page on your site (an "anchor point")
  • A phone number (click to call)
  • An Email (click to email)
SEE BELOW ⬇️

To set up any links - you're going to need to get to the "Select a Link" window.  Depending on the widget you are trying to link (button widget, Menu widget, etc.) - there are different ways to get to the Select a Link window.  In most cases, you'll be looking for a "link" icon 🔗 - or clicking an "Edit" button or gear icon.

(Click here for more information on finding the "link" icon in a Menu Widget)

AN EXAMPLE OF THE LINK ICON ⬇️

Once you have found the "link" icon and have clicked it - you'll see the "Select a Link" Window:

FIRST STEP:

As you will see - along the LEFT hand side of the screen, there are various linking options.  Click on your desired link option to start.

In other words:  "Where/what do you want to link to?"

Link To:

Page - (to any page on your site)

Store - (to your main store catalog OR directly to an item, service or membership product you sell)

See this article: How to link to a product or store page

Funnel - (to a NESTED FUNNEL on your site - and which step in the Funnel to link to).

If your Funnel is a STANDALONE FUNNEL - you would select “External Link” as below.

External Link - (to any site or page on the internet - including facebook groups, third party booking sites, etc).

See this article: How to link to an external page, website or funnel

Anchor Point - (to a specific section of a page. you set this "anchor" section within a block's settings)

See this article: Anchor Points - How to Scroll Down to a Certain Point

File - (to any file/PDF you want people to be able to download. first upload these PDFs to your File Manager)

See this article: How to Link to a PDF document or file

Popup - (to any pop-up on your site - you can create pop-ups from your Pages/Popups list)

See this article: Triggering Popups on Link Click

Email - (to any email address - makes the link a clickable "click to email" link)

See this article: How to set up a "Click to Email" link

Phone - (to any phone number - makes the link a clickable "click to call" link)

Please see this article: How to set up a "Click to Call" link

SECOND STEP:

Once you have selected the option on the left for where you'd like to link - the area on the right will display additional options or steps for you to set up. See this quick video run through ⬇️

THIRD STEP:

Click the pink "SELECT" button in the bottom right corner to confirm your Link selections and set up your link.

TO LINK TO A PAGE ON YOUR SITE:

For example to link to a PAGE on your site - you will first select the PAGE GROUP from the top drop-down list, and the select the actual PAGE from the middle drop-down list.  Then click Select.

Note: The list of pages you'll see in this Pages drop-down is generated directly by the list of actual pages on your site (available in the Pages/Popups List - which is accessed from the top icon - three stacked lines - from your left-hand navigation bar)

WHAT IS THE "MAKE NO FOLLOW LINK" OPTION? (optional - not recommended)

Nofollow links are links with a rel=”nofollow” HTML tag applied to them. The "nofollow" tag tells search engines to ignore that link. Because nofollow links do not pass PageRank they likely don’t impact search engine rankings.

In the past, website owners used "nofollow" links to manipulate the flow of PageRank (a Google algorithm) within their site to influence which pages would receive more link authority. However, Google has changed its algorithm to handle PageRank differently, and such techniques are less effective today.  It is up to you whether you'd like to use this or not.
