Whether you want to deliver a Lead Magnet (see linked "Related Article" at the bottom of this page) or simply want your visitors to be able to open and print off a document, here are the instructions to upload and then link to a PDF file from your website or funnel.

EXAMPLE OF HOW YOU CAN DELIVER A "PDF DOWNLOAD" BELOW:

1) Click on Website Settings (gear icon on the left side of your Builder) then File Manager, then "View All Files"

Next click "Upload a File

3) To upload a PDF file - browse to the File saved on your computer and click "Open" to add it to your File Manager.  You have now added a PDF File to your File Manager and you are ready to link to it (see Step Two)

4) To upload a FOLDER with multiple PDF files for your user to upload:

- Create a folder on your computer - add your PDF files to the folder. Right click on the folder and select the “Send To” option and then click Compressed (Zipped) folder.

- Follow steps 1) 2) and 3) above to upload your Zip Folder.

Step Two: Link to Your PDF File or Folder

You can link to your PDF File from any Menu, Button, text hyperlink, image, etc.

Note:

To link to this PDF from a MENU in your header - follow the steps below starting with 1).

To link to this PDF from a BUTTON anywhere on your site - simply click the button on the page once to reveal the button editing bar and click on the Link Icon. Then follow below from 5).

1) Hover over the menu and click "Edit Menu"

2) Next you will either "Add New Menu Item" (to add a new item to your menu linking to your PDF) OR you will "Edit" one of your existing Menu Item links (if you want an existing menu item to link to your PDF)

3) Click on the + Add Menu Item to add a new item/new link to your menu:

4) Click the Pencil Icon next to an existing menu item to change where it will link to:

5) The next screen you will see will be the "Select a Link" window.  This is where you get to choose where things link (where Menu Items link to, where Buttons link to, where text hyperlinks link to, where icons or images link to, etc. )

6) To link to your PDF File - you will choose "File" from the left hand side.

7) Then click the link icon in the black bar field.

This will open up your File Manager.

8) Click on the PDF File or Zip Folder you uploaded in the previous step. Then click "Select" in the lower right hand corner.

9) Back at the "Select A Link" window - under "Open In" choose "New Tab".  You can also type in a "Caption" for this PDF document in the top field.

10) Once you have a Caption, you are linking to the correct File and you are set to "Open in" a New Tab - click "Select" in the lower right hand corner.

Congrats!! Your PDF document is now uploaded to your site and you have just linked to it!

Now when someone clicks your link (menu item, button, etc.) it will open up a new tab on their computer with your PDF document or Zip file where they can view it or download it to their own computer.
