Facebook Pixel Not Firing on Confirmation Page

If you are using the FB Pixel helper and your pixels do not appear to be firing on your Confirmation page - ie: you are getting Page Views but not Leads - please follow these steps:

1) Ensure that you have set up your Pixel correctly, following the steps in this article:

2) Test your entire flow with a test or dummy email address and actually fill out the form where you collect leads.

3) Have some patience, triggered events can take up to 20 minutes to show.

NOTE: The Lead event will be triggered WHEN YOU SUBMIT THE FORM.

It's submitted ON THE PAGE THE FORM IS, right before the page is redirected to the next page - whether that be a confirmation page, thank you page, or a popup, or a simple message (without a redirect).

*Bonus (unrelated) Tip - Make sure that you also have gone into your Form's settings and have SET A TAG for each form. Whether you are using the ShinePages emails and automation or a third-party email platform or aren't sending emails at all - Tags are a great way to filter and categorize your leads in your CONTACTS tab. You can also update the form's settings to get a notification email each time someone fills out the form.
