NOTE: ShinePages is unique in that we offer 2 different types of Checkout Processes within the platform:

1) THE "SYSTEM STORE CHECKOUT" (See information LINKED HERE)

There is one standard, system-provided "Store Checkout" page (that contains one Store Checkout Widget) and thus, one standard, system-provided Checkout Process per Website (or per Standalone Funnel) available to all users on all ALL plans.

This system provided checkout acts as a standard "online checkout" - where people put items into their cart (or click "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now") - and then move to the checkout to complete their purchase of all products.

Within the settings of this system-provide checkout process you can set Tags, connect to email marketing, set the Thank you page and edit or add-to the fields collected during checkout.

2) THE FREESTANDING "CHECKOUT WIDGET" (See information BELOW ⬇️)

The Checkout Widget is a powerful feature available to those on the GLOW plan and above - and allows you to place a freestanding Checkout Widget onto ANY Website page or Funnel step.

This checkout allows you to:

  • Make sales directly within a Funnel
  • Sell only the specific items you'd like within a checkout
  • Offer your buyers the option to choose between products of your choice directly within the checkout (full price product vs. installment plan product - for instance)
  • Create as many one-page sales pages as you'd like
  • Offer bump-offers within the checkout
  • Add separate Tags per checkout
  • Connect to specific Email Lists per checkout
  • Set specific Thank You pages per checkout
  • Add or Edit Fields collected per checkout
  • Style the checkout creatively

CHECKOUT WIDGET (Freestanding Checkout Widget)

The checkout widget may be accessed from the Widget's List (the plus sign +  icon on the left navigation within your Builder) under the "Sales" section.

DRAG the widget from the Widget menu onto the page where you'd like it to appear.  This widget can be added to any existing page - OR - can be added to any new/blank Website page or Funnel Step you've created, creating a separate standalone "checkout page" with it's own clickable page URL.

Once the Checkout widget is on the Website page (or Funnel Step) where you'd like it - simply click once anywhere within the Checkout Widget on the page itself to reveal the Checkout Widget toolbar.

CHECKOUT PRODUCTS

With the freestanding Checkout Widget - you have the option to select which products you'd like to sell thru this specific Checkout.

Click on the "Products" button within the Checkout Widget Toolbar to reveal the Product selection window.  From here you can choose "Product Select" as the Checkout option, then click Select Products to choose products from your Store to sell.

When the Product Selection Window opens - you'll be able to select one or multiple products to display and sell via this checkout.  This list of products pulls directly from the Products you would have created in your STORE.

TO ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO CHANGE THE QUANTITY OF PRODUCTS PURCHASED:

To give your customers the option to select more than 1 of your products as the checkout - simply tick or select the option: "Allow customers to change the quantity to buy"

TO ALLOW CUSTOMERS TO CHOOSE BETWEEN TWO OR MORE PRODUCTS:

If you want to give the option to have your customers select one of multiple product options

(for example - a customer could choose the "Pay in Full" product option OR the "Installment Payment" product option) - Simply select the option below that says "Allow customers to choose the product to buy"

This will also reveal a secondary option below: "Let customers choose multiple products".   If you'd like them not only to select which product but also select multiples of that product - select this option as well.

BUMP OFFERS:

In addition to the "Main Products" to sell - you also have the option to select a product (or products) as a "Bump Offer" within the Checkout.

From within the Checkout Products window - click "Edit" next to "Bump Offers" - then click "Add Bump".

From the Edit Bump window - first click on the small pink "Select" Link to Select your Bump Product or Products. This list of products pulls directly from the Products you would have created in your STORE.

Once your Bump product has been chosen, you can fill out the fields within the Edit Bump window for Bump Headline, Title, Description, etc.

You can also choose to have the Bump offer be "Active by Default", you can choose to "Show Product Image", show a "Badge" (great for including Bump price) and a color for that Badge, and selecting the "Bump Style".

Finally - you can select a Tag or Tags to mark your customers that purchase the Bump offer thru this Checkout Widget.

CHECKOUT STYLING

If you click on "Styling" (paintbrush icon) from the Checkout Widget toolbar - the Styling options window for the Checkout Widget will open. This is where you can change the layout, the number of steps in the checkout process and styling such as colors, fonts, etc.

CHECKOUT SETTINGS

Finally if you click on "Settings" (cog/gear wheel icon) from the Checkout toolbar - the Settings window for the Checkout Widget will open.

This is where you set the Thank You page, choose to Allow Discounts or not, Enable Customer Registrations or not (not necessary for any Membership products or Subscription products as Registration will be set by default within the checkout) set any Tags, Connect to Email Marketing (select an email list) and add any additional fields needed for this specific checkout.
