The Member Login/Registration widget allows your website "Members*" to either:
-LOGIN to access any "Members-Only" pages you may have set
OR
-REGISTER to become a Member* for Free.
Using the Built-In Member Login/Registration Page:
It's important to note that your website/funnel already comes with one built-in "Member Login/Registration" Page. This page can be accessed for editing under the "System Pages" folder in your Pages/Popups List.
The built-in Page URL for this Member Login/Registration System Page is: yourdomain.com/signin
People will automatically be brought to this "Member Login / Registration" System Page if they use the built-in "Login/Profile" widget in your Header.
Therefore, if you use this Login/Profile Header Widget - (or simply want to utilize the built-in Login page instead of creating your own Login page(s)) - it's important to edit and customize this "Member Login/Registration System Page", as well as edit the Widget that can be added to ANY Website page or Funnel page/step (see below) .
This is what the Login/Profile Header widget looks like:
See below for information on how to edit the actual Widget itself - whether it's on the built-in System Page or you've added it to your own page(s).
Adding the Member Login/Registration Widget to Any Page:
The Member Login / Registration Widget can also be added to ANY Website Page or Funnel step if you'd prefer to create and setup your own "Login" page or create multiple, branded "Login Pages" for each of your different "memberships" or courses.
Simply Drag the Member Login/Registration Widget to the page from the Widgets menu (the + plus sign icon from the left hand navigation in your Builder screen).
Editing/Customizing the Member Login/Registration Widget:
Click on the Member Login/Registration widget on the page once to reveal the Widget's Toolbar.
From there click "Edit" to get to the Widget's Settings area.
From here you will be able to change the settings of the widget as shown in the video above and in the image below:
To set your Widget as a "Login Only" widget (ie: If you DON'T want to allow "Free Registrations" to your Membership/Course) - you would select "Enable Login" and de-select the option to "Enable Registrations".
Once you have set your Widget up properly - your Members should be able to Login and/or Register for Free and get to their appropriate Member page.
Remember - the first page your Members see upon Login is set within the Member Group's settings area - under the CONTACTS Tab on the top of your screen. See Related Articles below for further information.
*Members are Contacts who are in a "Member Group" and able to access any "members-only" pages you may have set.
