Tips & Best Practices when you have multiple admins/contributors that have access to edit in the builder of your account

This will avoid any updates being "Overwritten" and NOT being SAVED.

Please NOTE that while multiple people may Login and work on the Websites and Funnels that are a part of your ShinePages Project/Account from anywhere and from different devices - we do NOT recommend having multiple people logged in and working simultaneously.

If multiple people have access to edit the SAME Funnel(s) or Website(s) (including any Website's "nested" funnel) within a ShinePages Project/Account, they should do so at different times - and should always SAVE their work and REFRESH their browser at the end - before closing their window or logging out of the platform. Once that is done they may "pass it over" to another team member to work on it.

The new person who goes in to work in ShinePages should always REFRESH their browser FIRST to see any recent changes - BEFORE they save or begin any work or editing.

Again - to avoid OVERWRITING one another's work on the SAME Website or Funnel  (ie: saving an older version of the site and losing all the new content or edits that were made to the "newer" version someone had been working on) - we always recommend working on the site at separate times and be sure to Save and Refresh before "passing it over' to the next person. That next person should be safe to then "refresh" their own browser before beginning their own work.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you have multiple Websites (including Websites with Nested Funnels) or Standalone Funnels within your ShinePages Project/Account, another way to ensure smooth collaboration and avoid accidental overwrites would be to assign each user to a completely separate Website or Funnel.

In your Dashboard > Admin area, you can assign users to separate websites or standalone funnels. This ensures they ONLY have access to their designated Website (or Standalone Funnel), eliminating the risk of overlapping changes. As long as they are not switching and accessing anyone else's website/funnel - they can save and edit as they wish in their OWN website/funnel.

FURTHER EXPLANATION:

On the ShinePages Platform - we have WEBSITES and FUNNELS

-"Websites" are their own entity

-"Nested Funnels" are considered part of a parent "Website"

-Standalone "Funnels" are their own entity

Each Website and Standalone/Non-Nested Funnel has it's own "SAVE" function, applicable to that particular Website/Standalone Funnel.

When you edit and save in ANY part of one particular Website or Standalone Funnel (ie: Builder Pages, Nested Funnel Steps, Contacts, Store, Appointments, etc.) -  you are saving across that ENTIRE Website/Funnel.

Therefore - only 1 Admin should be in and working on any given Website or Funnel at any given time to avoid overwrites.

FOR WEBSITE DESIGNERS/THOSE DESIGNING FOR OTHERS:

If 1 (one) person is solely responsible for the website build - we recommend sharing any website changes / updates to your client/partner by having them view the website live and not in the builder until you are ready to hand it over.
