Attention all Web Designers, Funnel Designers and Virtual Assistants:

We'd love to invite you to build for clients on the ShinePages platform! Here's how:

If you haven't already created an account on ShinePages - we encourage you to sign up for a free trial to start testing and playing around on the platform. Note that your own paid account is not necessary to build for others on ShinePages:

Bonus: Sign up for the affiliate program and receive 20% commission on all projects you create for paying clients:

To design for clients on ShinePages you will choose one of two different methods:

1) Invite the Client First (preferred method):

Using your default affiliate link (or any affiliate link you create) you can invite the client to create an account with ShinePages (ie: "Register" at shinepages.com) and then have them "invite" you to be an Admin on their project under their Dashboard > Admins area.  (Note - the words "project" and "account" are used interchangeably on ShinePages). Once they have done that:

a) You can then either build directly on THEIR project/account* OR

b) Build on another project (your own project or a trial project) and then "transfer" the finished design to your client's project.  To make this transfer: From your list of Websites under "My Sites & Funnels" - click the gear wheel next to the name of the website in your project you wish to transfer - then select "Move to another project" - and choose your client's project)

*Building on THEIR project would mean that all files uploaded to the File Manager would stay on the project as well as any Store Settings (connected payment providers, etc.) This is the preferred method.

2) Build First, then Invite the Client:

Start a new Trial project on ShinePages or build on your own existing project first. When ready for your client to take over you can either:

a) Share a link (with affiliate code embedded) to the project you created, creating a copy of the site on their own account. Original files and store settings do not transfer. Ask them to add you as an Admin on their project if you want to retain access to the project.

b) Invite them as an Admin onto the Trial project you created, then immediately make them the project "Owner" when they have accepted the invite.  Original files and settings will remain intact. (We will need to manually attribute them to your affiliate account in this instance. Just let us know and we can attribute them.)

c) Follow the steps above in Option 1 (b) - ie: invite client with affiliate link to create a project of their own, have them add you as an Admin (which will then show up in your Projects list) and then you'll be able "transfer" the site to their project. Again - settings and files will not transfer, but the design/layout will.

Design Extensions:

Each trial/client project created initially allows you 14 days of a free trial, but as a designer, we are happy to offer you trial extensions as needed before you pass off your project. Please contact us at support@shinepages.com to request your design extension.

In addition - please note that even if a project has "expired" you still have the ability to login and design, and no work is deleted or goes away upon "expiration".

To View All Of Your Projects:

As long as your email address remains an "Admin" on your clients accounts, you would be able to view ALL of your different projects by logging into your own account or ANY client account and going to Dashboard > Switch Project. You will see a full list of all projects you have access to as an Admin - and can click to enter and edit each.
