How To Set Up & Deliver Your Lead Magnet or Freebie
How To Set Up & Deliver Your Lead Magnet or Freebie - from opt-in to automated email
Setting up and delivering your lead magnet or a freebie can be done easily within the ShinePages platform.
To do this, first, you need to collect information like the name and e-mail address of your qualified leads and prospects for your business and turn them into a list.
By giving away a valuable item for free in exchange for their e-mail, you're going to be able to start communicating with them, build the trust factor, and be able to share something of value with them that will help them move towards pleasure or move away from the pain of some sort or another.
Step 1: Upload your Freebie to your File Manager
If you have your freebie or PDF ready-to-go, you can just upload it to your file manager within your account. It can be in the form of an ebook, or a guide, or some sort of infographics that is in PDF format.
To go to your File Manager, go to your Select File Manager..
Select File Manager.
Then View All Files
You can add different folders in your file manager, then start uploading files using this button:
Then you can find your file from your computer and upload it here.
Now you already have your PDF documents sitting on your ShinePages File Manager ready for use.
Step 2: Decide on Inline Form or Pop-up Form
The next step is deciding if you're going to be doing an Inline Form which is a form that's actually on your page, or if you're going to be collecting that name an email in the form of a Pop-up.
Here is like an Inline type of form where the visitor can see the fields immediately to enter in their name and email:
While in Pop-up, you can have something like a button that says "Download Your Free Guide", and clicking that button would pop-up a little screen that would have a form to collect their name email, and whatever you're going to collect.
Either way you're going to do it, it's going to be the same format.
Go to your widgets.
Add a Form widget to your builder.
The standard form would then come in with some fields you might not need.
Reduce them by deleting off some lines from your form.
You can also put them on the same line by making each one smaller.
You can customize the form by going into Settings
You can now set the Form Name, add your email, and tweak the appearance of your form.
