Widget Overview: Video Widget

1) New Video Hosting which now allows you to upload videos directly, organize them, and display them via playlists or standalone widgets.

2) Option to add an embed code you grabbed for your video hosted on the platform that you store your videos on ie. Youtube, Muse, Vimeo, Canva, Loom etc.

To add the Video Widget to your page - click on the Widgets button in the left hand tab - select the Video widget and drag it onto your page.

The Video Settings window open:

Option 1: UPLOAD

Upload or select a video from your Video File Manager in ShinePages. (See more info below):

Option 2: LINK

Paste the embed code (from your video host in the “Video Source” field (see this article with more info):

Select your uploaded video:

Once you’ve added your video - you can change the adjustable settings of the video here, including things like: Autoplay, Looping, Hide Controls etc.

VIDEO MANAGER with Folders and Analytics

Upload your videos here, create folders, adjust settings of videos and access Analytics.

Click on your website settings (gear icon) and then on “Video Manager”:

To get started - Create a folder / folders:

Upload a video / videos:

Edit the settings here such as Title, description, categories

chapters (jump to sections), captions, analytics etc:

TRACK & VIDEO VIEWS: 

• With the Video widget - you can check a setting to "Allow Manual Mark as Watched". This would then add the button to the video widget allowing those who watch to mark it as complete. This would then show in their individual activity on their contact record.
• The Video Playlist widget also has this "Allow Manual Mark as Watched" option
• In addition, has the option to automatically "mark as watched" any video when it completes, before it moves on to the next video in the playlist. 

• You are able to set up an Automation Trigger for Video Started or Video Completed within the Automations to track these actions by users.
