How to record and send a Loom Video

WHAT IS LOOM?
It’s essentially the easiest way to record and share videos online.
You will be able to:
1) Record your screen, camera, microphone, and internal audio
2) Automatically save videos to the cloud and share them instantly with a link
3) Get notified when someone views, reacts, or comments on your video
It will take you to the signup process where you can sign up with any one of your signup credentials.
To have instant access to Loom on your computer - install the Loom Chrome extension here - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/loom-%E2%80%93-screen-recorder-sc/liecbddmkiiihnedobmlmillhodjkdmb - select "Add to Chrome".
Follow the prompts to enable your microphone and camera access, then the Loom extension will appear next to your URL bar, as shown below.
After successfully adding the extension, complete your installation by logging into your account here https://www.loom.com/login
HOW TO RECORD A LOOM VIDEO:
The settings window will appear where you can decide how you capture your video:
1) Click on the dropdown next to “Screen and Camera” And select one of these options:
- Screen + Camera: You will be able to share your screen and have a small circular camera recording of yourself on the page
- Screen Only: Should you not want to share your camera recording
- Camera Only: Share this face-only option
2) For Screen + Camera and Screen Only recordings - you will have the option to record your entire screen “Full Desktop” or the browser window “Current Tab”.
3) In the recording Settings, click on the dropdown and you can select the “Default” microphone and camera you had set in your Loom Extension setup or input for your recording. A microphone audio tells you whether your microphone is enabled and ready to capture audio before you start your recording.
4) Click on “Start Recording"
Choose which option you want to share:
1) Entire Screen
2) Chrome Tab (to record a live site)
Select which Chrome window you want to share
A count down will appear to start your recording.
Record your video.
To end the recording, click on the red block with the timer “finish recording”.
Your recorded video will show up.
To name your recording click over the name at the top and edit accordingly.
To Share your Video:
1) Copy the link to your video and share it!
2) Copy the embed code - Click on the "Share" button above your Loom:
Click on "Embed" and Copy the Embed Code:
