Whether you are announcing something new, capturing leads, delivering a lead magnet or enrolling people onto a waitlist, you can do it all quite simply by creating a landing page or lead page in ShinePages.
You can create these as simple PAGES within your website - or you can create them as FUNNELS.
Note: You may choose one method over the other based on whether you want these pages to "live" on your main domain (your website) or on a separate domain (in which case, set them up as a funnel).
In either case, you will follow these steps to create:
-Eye-catching image or background
-Headline or hook that speaks to your ideal audience
-Simple lead capture form with no more than "name" and "email" fields.
1) Add New Page in your website
(or Add new Funnel or "step" within a funnel - please see more detailed info on Funnel Steps below)

2) Choose from the various "Landing Page" / "Coming Soon" (or other) Category Templates to start from.

OR begin with a blank page template and build from scratch by "Adding a Block" selecting form the pre-built blocks or create your own by selecting from the "Widgets" to ensure your Landing Page has the basic elements "above the fold".

3) Hide the Header and Footer if building on your website.

4) Adjust the Form Settings of your form widget as needed: ie. name your form, set a tag for contacts, decide if leads will get a simple thank you message or will be directed to another page or a PDF download upon "submit", etc.
Please see this article on Form Settings for more info.
- Click over the form and then click on the gear icon (settings) for access
You can also edit the form fields and the form styling here in this mini menu.

5) Edit your Page Settings by clicking on the gear icon (settings to the right of your page) in your Pages List - the click on "Show Settings".

In "Page Info" add your details.

In "SEO Info" - add your details. Please see this article for more info: Page SEO

6) If you'd like to use this page as a "coming soon" page on your website - set it as the "Homepage" temporarily.
Follow instructions as per Point 5) and click on the "Set as Homepage" button as per below image.
With this option - you would just share your main website domain / url on social media etc.
- Also check out this article with more info on: How to set any page as the "Home Page

7) If you don't want to set it as your website "Homepage" you can "Grab the Link" for this page and share it by:
Clicking on "Preview" within your page

Click on the "Show in New Tab" button

Grab the URL in the browser (everything before the ?)
