How to add Upsells & Downsells in your Funnels

(Please note you need to be subscribed to the Glow Plan and upwards to have this facility).

1) Once you've ADDED your main product, your upsell product and your downsell product in the STORE and completed your Funnel Checkout Page linked to your Main Product.

2) CREATE YOUR FUNNEL UPSELL

- Click on the green “+ upsell / downsell” button in your Checkout Step. (This will automatically add the “UPSELL”. Then select “page” (you can also go for a Popup - a Page for the “Upsell” is recommended). 

- Under “Categories” the “Upsells & Downsells” category will automatically be selected and you can go ahead and select the page template that appeals to you.

- Enter your Page Name in the “Add New Page” window.

- Click on the button “+ Add Upsell Product”.

- Select your Upsell Product.

- In this “Edit” window is where you can set your button wording, email lists, tags etc. (Or to access - hover over the button and click on “Edit”).

- Click on the paintbrush icon to edit your button styling.

- If the purchaser chooses not to go for your “UPSELL” be clicking on the “No Thanks” button - they will automatically be taken to your “DOWNSELL”.

3) CREATE YOUR FUNNEL DOWNSELL

- Click on the green “+ upsell / downsell” button in your Checkout Step. (This will automatically add the “DOWNSELL”. Then select “Popup” (as a different option to “Page”).

- In the automatic “Upsell & Downsell” Category window - go ahead and select the popup of your choice.

- Click on “Upsell Product”.

- Select your downsell product.

- Click on the paintbrush icon to edit your button styling.

RESULT OF THE ABOVE

- When your purchaser opens the checkout page for your main product and enters all of their details - then clicks on “Complete Order”:

(We are using "Bank Transfer" for the purposes of this example (not recommended) - Upsells and Downsells will only work with payment gateways like Stripe where buyers would enter their bank details before clicking on "Complete Order". Upsells and downsells do NOT work with "PayPal".)

UPSELL

- They will automatically be taken to your “Upsell” page offer.

- If they click the “Buy Now / Grab the Deal etc” button - this product will automatically be ADDED to their checkout and then taken to the Thank you page you have set up after purchase.

- If they click on the “No Thanks / Not Now etc.” button they will automatically be taken to your “Downsell” popup offer.

DOWNSELL

- If they click “Buy Now etc.” - this product will automatically be ADDED to their CHECKOUT and then taken to the Thank you page you have set up after purchase.

- If they click on the “No Thanks / Not Now etc.” button they will be taken straight to the Thank you page you have set up after purchase.
