When building your emails you can add a Personalized "First Name” Tag which will be populated with the user’s First Name related to their email address.

PLEASE NOTE this different to your forms' CRM fields which has only the “Name” field. The email personalization tags have the “First Name" and “Last Name” fields to select from.  If you have collected both their First Name and their Last Name using the singular "Name" field within a Form - only the first of the two visitor-inputted names will get pulled by using this "first_name" tag within the email editor.

(For example - if you use the "Name" CRM property as a Field in a Form to collect someone's Full Name - and the person fills out the form with "Jane Smith" - when you insert the "first_name" tag into your email it will display "Jane" to the recipient.)

You can add these personalized tags 2 ways:

1) In the text of your email builder:

In the text editor black menu bar - click on the “add tags” icon on the far right.

In the Select Property popup - click on “first_name”

The email your recipient will receive will show their first name - (first_name)

2) In the summary of the email - under “Subject”

Click on the "Add Property” button and then click on “first_name”
