The “Website Notifications” feature adds a built-in notification center to your Website, Funnel or Community. 


Once enabled, logged-in website Members will see a bell icon in the upper-right corner of the screen. Clicking this icon opens a dedicated notification panel where they can view any updates or interactions they've missed.


To enable the feature within your account, please navigate to Website Settings > General:

The notification panel is divided into four tabs to help users manage and filter their updates:


All - Displays all notifications in one place.


Unread - Shows only notifications that haven’t been opened yet.


Social - Includes activity such as mentions and replies/comments (in discussion widgets, wall/forum widgets, comment widgets).


Store - Includes order-related updates like:

  • Order placed successfully
  • Order shipped



EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS:

To ensure members don’t miss important interactions, the system also sends email notifications in the following cases:

  • When a Member is mentioned (see below)
  • When a Member receives a "reply" or comment on their post

NOTE: These "system emails" are only sent if the corresponding website notification has not been viewed within 20 minutes.


MENTIONING OR 'TAGGING' MEMBERS: 

Logged in members can "mention" or "tag" other members within post or discussion comments by typing the @ symbol and then starting to type their name (as displayed in the member's profile).


Once "mentioned" by another member, the logged-in member will see the notification of the mention in their "Notifications" screen. (and will get an email notification if not seen after 20 minutes) 


Admins/Moderators can also use "@everyone" to send a "notification" to ALL members. 


NOTE: If the engagement widget is used within a community circle - then only members that are assigned to that particular circle will get the "@everyone" notification. If the engagement widget is set within a website page or funnel step - the "@everyone" notification will tag ALL website members.
