How to create a “Test Purchase" in the store.

We recommend that you set up a test purchase in your store so that you can go through the whole checkout process from choosing a product to making payment as if you were the customer.
Once you’ve got your product/s set up and your Payment Gateway connected (see below related articles). You will set up a discount coupon code ultimately charging $1,00 (for example) for this - TEST IT OUT - then delete the discount code afterwards.
(If you want to test the purchase without having to go thru the Payment Process - Set your Discount Code to 100% discount).
Click on the "Save" button.

NOW it’s time to test it out LIVE! Go through your purchase process and select your product, when you get to the “Customer Information” Page - click on “enter promo code” - type in your discount code, then click on the “Apply Code” button.
This will take you to your “Order Summary” and you’ll see the discount applied and ready for you to purchase at $1. Go ahead and complete the purchase.
You will be able to see the process that your customer will experience ie. The payment Gateway process, the “Thank You Page’ you have set up, or if you’ve selected the “Thank You” message, the automated purchase email your customers will receive and the automated email you will receive as the seller.
