ShinePages provides the following DNS Record Values that you can copy and then paste into the "DNS Records Area" of your Domain Registrar (ie: the place where you purchased your domain name)


*TO CONNECT YOUR DOMAIN TO YOUR WEBSITE or FUNNEL:

ShinePages provides information/values for the following two types of DNS records - which you will copy and paste into your DNS Records area as:

-A Record  (Name/Host of: @, Value/Data of: 34.202.63.170)

-CNAME Record   (Name/Host of: www,  Value/Data of: "yourdomain.com")

*TO GET YOUR DOMAIN VERIFIED FOR EMAIL SENDING (*if using ShinePages for Email Campaigns or Automations):

REQUIRED: SPF & DKIM requirements

ShinePages provides information/values for the following two types of DNS records - which you will copy and paste into your DNS Records page as:

-TXT Record (Name/Host of: @, Value/Data of: provided string of numbers)  

-CNAME Record (Name/Host of def._domainkey, Value/Data of: client._domainkey.app-sources.com)

RECOMMENDED: DMARC Record:

ShinePages does NOT provide information/values for this DNS record. You can get this record information from your email domain host or use a standard or generated DMARC record. The provided or generated values for this record will be added to your DNS page as a:

-TXT Record


To Recap: 

Here are the 4 total records that we provide that you would add to your DNS Records area of your Domain Registrar to both connect your domain to your ShinePages site (ie: the A and 1st CNAME records) , and also get your domain verified to send emails from your matching, domain-hosted email address. (ie: the TXT and 2nd CNAME records): 


1) Record Type: A  -  Host/Name field: @  -  Data/Value/IP Address field: 34.202.63.170


2) Record Type: CNAME  -  Host/Name: www  -  Data/Value field: yourowndomain.com (replace with your actual domain without www or https://)


3) Record Type: TXT  - Host/Name field: @ (or blank)  -  Data/Value field: (paste in the string of numbers and letters copied from your Email "Settings area in ShinePages - click the gear icon to view and copy this value)


4) Record Type:  CNAME  -  Host/Name: def._domainkey  -  Data/Value field: 

client._domainkey.app-sources.com
