Whether you are using the standard/built in System Store Checkout page OR the Freestanding Checkout widget, you can add the ability to require "accept terms" to your Checkout screen.
If using the built-in Store Checkout Page:
(Please note this will apply to your general Store Checkout and ALL products purchased through here)
-Get to your checkout page by Visiting Store > Layout & Styling > Checkout Page "Style Now"
-OR Click your Pages & Popups List (top icon on left side of your Builder) and scroll down to System Pages > Store Checkout.
- Once on the page - click once over the area to make the toolbar pop open. Click "Settings" (gear icon) - then click on the Customize Fields button.
Then follow additional instructions BELOW "In the Customize Fields" window"
If using the Freestanding Checkout Widget:
(available on the GLOW plan and above)
Click once on the Checkout Widget on the page to make the Widget's toolbar pop open. Then click “Settings” (gear icon) - then click on the “Customize Fields” button.
In the “Customize Fields" window - check "Ask for additional information" - select the location of the additional fields in the checkout flow by clicking on the dropdown and then click on the “Additional Fields” button.
To add the link to your “Terms & Conditions” page, highlight over your wording in the "Description wording” then click on the paperclip icon on the right hand side of the black mini popup window.
In the “Select a Link” window, click on “Page” or “Funnel” (depending on what you’re working on) and then in the "Page Group” click on “Pages” in the dropdown. Underneath “Page” or “Funnel Step” click on the dropdown arrow and select your “Terms & Conditions” page or step. Under “Open In” click on the dropdown and select “New Tab”. Click on the “SELECT” button and hit SAVE.
This will allow your users to view the Terms & Conditions by clicking on the wording and view them when asked to check Terms and Conditions in the checkout process.
